Our Restoration Work

What's involved a Munster Muscle Car nut and bolt/rotisserie restoration?


CAR BODY

  • Car disassembled and stripped back to bare metal

  • Body is blasted to prepare rust repairs and body work

  • ALL rust is cut out and new sections welded

  • Body is coated with primer and sanded repeatedly prior to paint

  • Final coat and paint inside, outside and under the car

  • All new suspension fitted including everything from rubbers, ball joints, tie rod ends, bushes, springs and shocks

  • Steering column bearings replaced and new steering coupling fitted

  • Full brakes overhaul including new wheel bearings, rotors, pads, hoses, wheel cylinders, brake booster and master cylinder

  • All electrical wiring repaired, tested and re-run as per factory

  • All windows polished and window winders rebuilt

  • All new door, bonnet, boot and all other body rubbers replaced

  • New chromed bumpers fitted front and back

  • New front grill fitted

  • All new lights front and back installed

  • Original wheels sandblasted, repainted and new tyres fitted including wheel nuts, center caps and wheel trims

  • New external door handles fitted and new mirrors

  • Refurbished or NOS badges fitted to guards etc


INTERIOR

  • Front and rear seats re-trimmed

  • New door cards

  • New carpet and underlay

  • New roof lining

  • New dash crash pad

  • Steering wheel reconditioned

  • New door winders and door openers installed

  • New interior lights and door switches

  • New rear parcel shelf and front kick panels

  • Recondition original seat belts

  • Recondition dash gauges and heater controls

  • New glovebox liner and hinges

  • New handbrake cover

  • New centre console

  • Rear window steel venetian fitted

  • Original radio rebuilt

  • New foot pedal rubbers fitted

  • Re-chrome door scuff plates

  • New boot vinyl mate or carpet including rebuilding wheel jack and brace


DRIVELINE

  • Engine fully rebuilt to highest original specification including new big/main bearings, new cam shaft, crank regrind, new flat top pistons/rings, new timing gears, new high volume oil pump, new chromoly push rods, new lifters, new rocker arms, new valves, new water pump, new harmonic balancer etc etc

  • New radiator/hoses, clamps, heater core and valves/switches

  • Gearbox rebuilt including bearings, seals, shafts and gears

  • Tail shaft balanced and new universal joints fitted

  • Differential overhauled with new bearings, seals and LSD carrier clutches

  • New fitted exhaust as per factory
